Hasbro’s latest Star Wars fanstream took place today, March 25th and it included several new reveals in The Black Series and The Vintage Collection lineups. TVC collectors will be especially happy with this wave as it includes gems like Carson Teva (which was introduced by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee himself – see below), a Landspeeder vehicle, Asajj Ventress, and more.

Note that all of these figures will be available to pre-order on March 26th at 10am PT / 1pm ET here at Entertainment Earth (free U.S. shipping on orders $79+). They should also be available on Amazon, and direct links for both retailers will be added to the list below after the launch, so stay tuned to this page for updates. Marvel McFarlane Toys Comic Cover Wave 4

McFarlane Toys launched the fourth wave of their Marvel Comic Cover statues last week. Specifically, they released two 1:6 scale statues, the first inspired by Iron Man #256 with an impressive classic Iron Man figure, while the second features the particularly gruesome Venom in a pose meant to re-create the Venom #5 cover. The figures are live via the direct links below, so if you want to take these home you’ll have to head there quickly. Each figure is currently being offered for $49.95 with an estimated delivery set for May 2025.

Todd McFarlane, the comic creator, president of Image Comics and CEO of Mcfarlane Toys, exclusively told Comicbook about the launching of this line back in May of last year. 

“Eventually, I’d like to tip my hat to some of the people that inspired me a ton, George Perez and John Byrne,” McFarlane said. “But I also know that there’s a whole generation that have come in who those aren’t the guys they grew up with, right? It’s more of people that they’re looking at right now. And whether it’s the interior artist and, or the cover artist, I’ll be sort of looking at what they’re asking for and giving them that.”

Given the recent leaks, it should come as no surprise for fans of LEGO and LOTR that the The Lord of the Rings: The Shire #10354 set has been officially unveiled for an April 2025 release. No doubt the leaks have only served to increase the hype for what will be an amazing set. It will include 2017 pieces and 9 Minifigures: Bilbo Baggins, Frodo, Mrs. Proudfoot, Farmer Proudfoot, Merry and Pippin (with interchangeable heads to recreate the dragon firework scene), Rosie, Samwise and Gandalf the Grey. What’s more, you’ll be getting an exciting (and slightly disturbing) free GWP set with your purchase. Everything you need to know to add it to your collection alongside the Barad-Dûr and Rivendell LOTR sets can be found below.

The design of the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: The Shire set is inspired by the Peter Jackson films, mostly taking its inspiration from Bilbo Baggins’ eleventy-first birthday celebration from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Naturally, the diorama is loaded with features and nods to the films, which includes a detailed interior and interactive elements like the ability to transform a burning letter into The One Ring and make Bilbo vanish with a turn of a dial. You’ll also find Gandalf’s horse and cart, fireworks, a firework dragon figure, the Party Tree, a party pavilion, and Bilbo’s book, which can be displayed open or closed.

Now for the really important part. If you want to be among the first to own The Shire LEGO set, you need to sign up for a LEGO Insiders account (its free) and be ready and waiting on April 1st / 2nd at 9pm PT / 12am ET right here at the LEGO Shop where it will be available to purchase in early access for $269.99. The general public will be able to pick it up starting at the same time and in the same place on April 5th. However, there will be a free GWP set attached to this release, and there is little chance that it will survive long enough for non-members to get one. Read on for details on the GWP set as well as Sean Astin’s (Samwise Gamgee) special message for fans.

The Lord of the Rings: Smeagol & Deagol #40761 – See at LEGO (free with the purchase of The Shire): This model recreates Sméagol and Déagol’s discovery of The One Ring in The Return of the King, which ends badly for Déagol. Honestly, it’s quite a sinister choice for LEGO, so we have no doubt that it will be extra popular. The set includes a rotatable boat and accessories like The One Ring and fishing gear.

To celebrate the release of the new LOTR LEGO set, Samwise Gamgee himself takes fans back to the Shire in a video that can be viewed on the product page. LEGO notes that the mini-film is “more than just a recreation of The Lord of the Rings in LEGO bricks; it’s a tribute to the cinematic artistry of the trilogy. Echoing the iconic Osgiliath monologue and cross-cutting sequences that define the films, the mini-film features Sean Astin taking viewers on a personal tour through the set.”

Sean Astin had the following to say about the project: “Not all those who wander are lost… especially when travelling through the astonishing detail of the Shire made out of LEGO bricks! From the smallest hobbit-hole to the grandest fireworks, building this set brought back so many fond memories of Middle-earth. Now fans can journey there themselves and build their own adventures.”

McFarlane Toys is on a roll this week. For starters, they’re set to release a new wave of Page Punchers figures on March 25th followed by a new wave of Todd’s Mods vinyl figures on Wednesday, March 26th. You can also expect to see a wave of DC Multiverse figures on March 28th. Stay tuned here for details. As for Todd’s Mods Wave 2, the 4 1/2-inch scale limited edition collector vinyl figures feature a unique interpretation of the character designs. The initial release focused on Bane, Batman, and Swamp Thing figures and now the newest wave will include Killer Croc, King Shark, and Superman.

As noted, McFarlane Toys is also releasing new Page Punchers figures on March 25th. Kingdom Come Superman and Woman of Tomorrow Supergirl are both joining the Page Punchers line at about 9am PST / 12pm EST, most likely priced at $24.99. Both figures are 7-inch scale and will come with an exclusive re-print comic, in this case Justice Society of America Vol 3 #10 and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1 respectively. Look for the Supergirl action figure in this wave to sell fast. You’ll be able to find them both here at Entertainment Earth after the launch. You should also be able to find them here on Amazon.

It’s has been a busy month for Hasbro who kicked off March 2025 with a wave of Marvel Legends figures at NY Toy Fair along with a wave of Spider-Man Gamerverse figures, Collector Con exclusives, and more. With Robert Downey Jr. set to return to the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday as Doctor Doom, it’s no surprise that a comic book-inspired Victor Von Doom Helmet roleplay helmet was featured in the lineup. We’re also getting a Fan Channel exclusive X-Force Archangel figure, An X-Force 2-pack with X-23 and Warpath figures, and a figure inspired by the new Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ series. At this point, all of these figures have launched and are available for pre-order now. That leaves us with one remaining release – the Gamerverse Kingpin figure inspired by Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Below you’ll find a complete breakdown of these figures complete with pre-order links. The Kinpin figure is the final release on the list, and it is expected to launch this Thursday, March 27th at 1pm ET right here on Amazon as an exclusive. It’s no surprise Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon, which makes this collection featuring Eevee and its evolutions perfect for Pokemon TCG fans. Pokemon Korea is dazzling Eevee fans with a new line of acrylic card stand accessories designed to showcase the Eeveelution cards from Pokemon TCG‘s Prismatic Evolutions booster pack. While other cards will fit these as well, you can’t deny how perfectly they match each Eeveelution. However, considering these are exclusive to Pokemon Korea, or at least appear to be for the time being, it may be harder to get your hands on these Eeveelution card stands in other countries.

Pokemon Korea announced these Eeveelution acrylic card stands with an intended release date of March 28th. While not yet available, there isn’t much time to go before players can add these to their collection.

There are third-party services that can import products from countries, including Korea, and ship products to countries where Pokemon Korea may not ship to. The Eeveelution acrylic card stands are perfect for displaying rare cards and feature numerous designs. The Marvel Legends line has turned so many of Marvel’s biggest and lesser-known characters into action figures, and that roster continues to expand each and every month. Whether you’re huge names like Spider-Man and Thor or cult favorites like Speedball and Maggott, there’s seemingly a place for you in Hasbro’s incredibly popular toy line, at least if you’re not this one Spider-Man villain. That villain is none other than Cardiac, who is a personal favorite, and he’s also a favorite of Valaverse President Bobby Vala. Vala is behind the popular Action Force toy line and is also a former designer for Hasbro, previously working on the Legends line. In his new video, he reveals the real reason why Marvel has never made a Cardiac figure.

Vala has been discussing and spotlighting some of the Marvel Legends waves he previously worked on, and in his new video, Vala focuses on the 2019 Marvel Legends Kingpin Build-A-Figure wave. That wave ended up including Spider-Man (Symbiote Suit), Scarlet Spider, Night Thrasher, Black Cat, Silver Sable, Red Goblin, and Tombstone, but Vala reveals he pushed for Cardiac, both in this wave and the other Spider-Man wave he worked on.

In both cases, Marvel said no to Cardiac, and here’s why. “When you’re picking the stuff, I’ve talked about this before several times on podcasts and stuff about how like you weren’t allowed to do…you know the whole library wasn’t available, the whole Rogues gallery. Some things were like off-limits certain years, and that’s like because Marvel didn’t want to pay certain creators royalties,” Vala said.

“So each year we would get like, know about who was off the no-fly list. The one character…my all-time favorite Spider-Man villain is Cardiac, and I pushed for him every wave, the two waves I did. And we got told no every time, and to this day he’s still a no, they haven’t done Cardiac,” Vala said. “And I think because whoever the creator is, maybe Erik Larsen, they don’t want to pay a royalty to. So that’s why you can’t do Cardiac.”

Cardiac was co-created by Larsen, David Michelinie, and Randy Emberlin back in 1990, making his debut in Amazing Spider-Man #342. Technically that was his first appearance in civilian form as Dr. Elias Wirtham, but he would make his full costumed debut as Cardiac in Amazing Spider-Man #343, which was released in November of 1990.

Cardiac has been both a villain and an ally to Spider-Man over the years and sports a design that screams ’90s and yet I adore it. The blue and white are instantly recognizable, and he could actually do some damage too thanks to an artificial heart that allows him to control the output of electrical energy through his hands or through a power staff, and the concussive force was able to take down some big targets. Cardiac even worked Vibranium into his suit, so he wasn’t a pushover in the least.

At this point we’ve had so many of Spider-Man’s villains turned into figures, so it’s a shame that we might never get a Cardiac added to the roster. Granted, not every Marvel character has a figure yet, but with deep-cut characters like Kaine and Marrow getting figures in the past few months, Cardiac certainly deserves some shine.

The video also brings some surprising insight into the Kingpin Build-A-Figure, which was initially met with some resistance behind the scenes. It turned out to be incredibly popular, so it all worked out, but it’s still interesting to know some of what goes into bringing some of your favorite characters to the toy aisle. David Fein on the 2022 Star Trek: The Motion Picture Director’s Edition Restoration

As many fans know the original Star Trek: The Motion Picture movie was famously incomplete in its theatrical form. Apparently distribution arrangements beyond his control left director Robert Wise with the decision to cut his post-production short, leaving many parts of the movie aesthetically unfinished. Then in 2001, Paramount worked with Wise to create a complete Director’s Edition release. Due to Blu-ray treatments at the time, it was never converted, and again the Director’s Edition was lost. David Fein, a friend of Wise and a producer who originally worked on the Director’s Edition release in 2001, knew that Wise’s original complete vision needed to be preserved. 

Fein told Comicbook all about the experience back in 2022. Fein said, “Robert Wise, before his passing, had me come over to his house and he sat down at this little nice coffee nook that he has had a long talk and he said, “I may not be here forever.” And I said, “I wish you are.” But, you know, “I need you to promise me that, no matter what, you will always work to make sure that The Director’s Edition lives on and that we eventually get our negative because my legacy can’t be back to the theatrical again. It has to be the film the way that it needed to be, not the theatrical.”

Fein’s updated Director’s Edition was released in 2022 and is now a part of this Blu-ray collection.

Specifically, they’re set to release two 1:6 scale statues inspired by Iron Man #256 with an impressive classic Iron Man figure, while the second features the particularly gruesome Venom in a pose meant to re-create the Venom #5 cover. The collectibles have only been teased at this point, but you’ll be able to pick them up March 21st at 9am PT / 12pm ET here at Entertainment Earth and, most likely, here on Amazon. Back in May of last year, Todd McFarlane, the comic creator, president of Image Comics and CEO of Mcfarlane Toys, exclusively told Comicbook about the launching of this new line. McFarlane had the following to say to ComicBook about the future of the lineup:

“Eventually, I’d like to tip my hat to some of the people that inspired me a ton, George Perez and John Byrne,” McFarlane said. “But I also know that there’s a whole generation that have come in who those aren’t the guys they grew up with, right? It’s more of people that they’re looking at right now. And whether it’s the interior artist and, or the cover artist, I’ll be sort of looking at what they’re asking for and giving them that.”

The New WWE 2k25 

WWE 2K25 launched earlier this month and the fans are reeling. According to our own Michael Ruiz, “… all things considered, it’s arguably the best sports entertainment video game in the past decade. Just about every facet is fun to play, allowing you to interact with the world of the WWE any way you want. The creative freedom Visual Concepts gives players, from its impressive creation suite to its customizable Universe mode, is incredible.”

Ruiz continued into a criticism focused on one area of the game… The Island. This Island center operates as the hub of the career and online modes for the game. Create your own wrestler and entire the competition to win Roman Reign’s favor. Or start playing in online rankings. However, the island also offers players the chance to purchase in-game money to up their character’s stats. While this isn’t yet killer to the fun of the game, the mere existence feels similar to 2K’s other project, NBA 2K25, which has continued down the path of micro-transactions and pay-to-play systems. 

“As it stands now, [The Island is] a stripped-down version of [NBA 2K’s] The City, almost like Visual Concepts is testing the waters to see how players would react to the mode. You don’t have to spend $99.99 to max out your wrestler’s overall quickly… you have to spend $49.99. Adopting that pay-to-win model is disheartening, and imagining a timeline where it’s spread throughout most of the game like its NBA counterpart is worrisome.”

A little disappointing, but hopefully WWE 2K doesnt go all the way down the same path. With micro-transactions becoming a pain point in the gaming community, it would seem smart to steer away.

In the movie, Kurt Russell plays U.S. Marshall Wyatt Earp, who seeks to make a new life for himself in Tombstone along with his brothers Virgil and Morgan (played by Sam Elliott, Bill Paxton). However, Earp is swiftly brought back into his former life as a lawman thanks to a notorious group of cowboys. In an attempt to bring law to the lawless town, Earp teams up with Doc Holliday and a band of “immortals” to take down the cowboys who are lead by Curly Bill Brocius (Powers Boothe) and Johnny Ringo (Michael Biehn). Side note: George P. Cosmatos is officially credited as the director on Tombstone, but it’s widely reported that Kurt Russel essentially ghost-directed it. Cyberpunk 2077 fans now have a chance to add something insanely cool to their collections, but only 2000 copies of it will be made. Displate has teamed up with Porsche and CD Projekt Red to create a one-of-a-kind metal poster that brings the neon stylings of Night City to life alongside Johnny Silverhand’s favorite ride the Porsche 911, and you can check out the stunning new poster below. The catch is that the metal poster will be limited to 2000 copies, but the good news is that you can snag one from Displate right here.

The limited edition design features a 3D textured Porsche 911 Turbo with a holographic effect on the glass, and you can see the vibrant skyline of Night City behind it with Silverhand’s engram hovering above. There’s also an after-rain effect applied thanks to a glossy and matt varnish, and you can get an up-close look at everything below.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of Displate’s top-selling licensed brands, and so far the collection features 234 pieces based on the hit video game and the hit Netflix series. Those who want to add a bit of Cyberpunk to their collections can do so easily thanks to Displate’s hassle-free magnetic mounting system, and you can view the full collection right here.

If players wanted Silverhand’s Porsche in the game they had to make their way through the main storyline for a while and then complete a special mission, which hinges on a particularly important decision you have to make regarding Grayson. Depending on what you choose, you can then unlock access to a container that holds Silverhand’s favorite vehicle, and you can also unlock Silverhand’s gun during this mission as well.

If you didn’t get a chance to do that during the game though, you’re in luck now, as you can just display Silverhand’s Porsche in all its stylish glory on your wall, but you will want to act fast before the limited edition posters are all gone. For fans of post-apocalyptic games like the Fallout series, the upcoming survival-action game Atomfall is one to watch. The game is set in an alternate history version of Northern England after the Windscale nuclear disaster. Players must fight to survive in the quarantine zone while scavenging and bartering for what they need. Atomfall launches on March 27th for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and will also be a day-one Xbox Game Pass release. For those looking to preorder their very own copy of Atomfall, however, we’ve got great news – it’s already on sale pre-release!

There are a few different versions of Atomfall available, including the Standard Edition priced at $49.99, a Deluxe Edition at $69.99, and the massive Quarantine Edition bundle priced at $89.99. Funko’s got something up its sleeve and before you start guessing, let me just tell you, it’s nothing sharp. After almost 20 years, Funko is finally releasing Pop figures inspired by the original Showtime TV show, Dexter. Presumably, the new spinoff series Dexter: Original Sin and the upcoming Dexter: Resurrection prompted Funko to finally deliver but, whatever the case, we hope there will be more to come. For starters though, Dexter and Debbie Morgan take the spotlight alongside a Funko Exclusive Bloody Dexter dressed up in his murder-garb.

Pre-orders for the standard Debbie and Dexter Funko Pops will be available starting today, March 19th at 12pm ET here at Entertainment Earth and here on Amazon. Dexter: Resurrection

The original Dexter series had a massively successful eight season run on Showtime from 2006 – 2013. Unfortunately, the show’s ending became remembered as one of the worst of all time.  Then in 2021, Showtime risked it all to bring Dexter back for the sequel show, Dexter: New Blood, wanting to try their hand again with their popular serial killer character. Yet again, fans were disappointed with the ending and the show, which held mostly positive reviews across multiple review sites until the controversial last episode. Then there’s Dexter: Original Sin, which recently wrapped up its first season. It’s a prequel story that follows a young Dexter 15 years before the first season of the original show. But that’s not all!

Showtime confirmed that Michael C. Hall’s Dexter will come back from the dead for Dexter: Resurrection, a new sequel series set after Dexter: New Blood. Not much is known about the plot right now, but hopefully, the third time will be the charm and they’ll be able to stick the landing. Look for Dexter: Resurrection to debut on Showtime this summer.

Pokemon LEGO sets will be coming out next year. After a leak appeared online, LEGO and The Pokemon Company have now officially announced a collaboration between the 2 companies. A teaser trailer has been revealed, which shows Pikachu’s distinctive tail being built out of yellow and brown LEGO bricks, while generating a whole lot of electricity. A full build isn’t shown, but the teaser ends with the LEGO and Pokemon logos appearing. Unfortunately, that doesn’t give us much information, but that should be more than enough to get fans excited.

Obviously, this collaboration is still pretty far away, and we don’t know how far into 2026 the first sets will appear. As such, it’s hard to say when we might get a look at what’s in store. That’s not too unusual for LEGO, though. The company announced a LEGO version of the Game Boy back in January, and the set has still not been fully revealed yet. While Nintendo and LEGO have been working together over the last few years, The Pokemon Company exists as a separate entity, with its own partnerships and collaborations. The Pokemon Company has worked with Mattel for a long time, resulting in a plethora of Mega Bloks sets based on the franchise. From smaller builds of individual Pokemon, to a replica of the Pokedex, Mega Bloks has taken great advantage of the license. However, it seems that partnership will soon come to an end, and LEGO will be getting the rights to make building sets based on the brand.

Unfortunately, there’s no way of knowing what to expect from LEGO. It’s possible we could see a bunch of options in the BrickHeadz line, or we could see actual sets and Minifigs. There are a lot of great locations from the Pokemon games that could be replicated, from Pokemon Centers modeled after their appearances in specific games, to iconic buildings like Prism Tower from Pokemon Legends: Z-A. We could even get a creepy build based on Lavender Town’s Pokemon Tower, complete with sound effects from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Another possibility is that we could see pixel-inspired builds, similar to LEGO’s excellent Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set.

While Mattel has done a pretty nice job with the Pokemon brand, it seems like there are a lot of Pokemon fans excited to see what LEGO does with the brand. When it comes to building toys, there’s a reason they’ve built such a strong reputation, and it’s exciting to see what’s in store. 2026 happens to be the 30th anniversary of the Pokemon brand, and while that’s still a long way away, it already looks like it’s shaping up to be a very big year.

With the live-action adaptation hitting theaters this summer, some people would be tempted to say that Lilo and Stitch are making a comeback, but I’d argue they never really left. Released in 2002, Disney’s Lilo & Stitch has become a pop culture staple across the world over the last two decades. Stitch is a lasting Disney icon, so much so that supporting characters from his spin-off TV series are actual meet-and-greet characters in Tokyo Disneyland. The popularity of Lilo & Stitch has only grown since 2002, so it comes as a real surprise that it has taken this long for the film to get the kind of LEGO treatment that it received this month.

The Lilo & Stitch Beach House set from LEGO was recently released, and it brings the beloved (and wildly quirky) house from the film to life for the very first time. The 834-piece set (which you can purchase here) for ages 9+ is one of the more moderately priced LEGO sets, as far as Disney homes/structures are concerned. Unlike some of the bigger, pricier sets out there, this is a build meant for a younger crowd, but comes with more than enough detail to please older fans as well.

This set comes with five minifigs from the original Lilo & Stitch — Lilo (with her doll Scrump), Stitch (with a small version of the red ship from the movie), Nani, David, and Cobra Bubbles. The minifigs are all great (Stitch especially) and they have some fantastic hair pieces that feel authentic to the characters. If there’s a downside to the minifigs themselves, it’s two of the film’s most memorable characters are missing. Jumba and Pleakley would’ve required custom bodies, making them more costly to include, but it’s still a little disappointing not to see them with the rest of the group.

The build itself is split across six bags and it takes about two-and-a-half hours for an adult to complete. It may take a little longer for a younger builder, but that’s to be expected. The minifigs are pretty well spaced out, with one minifig coming in each of the first five bags, giving you a fun little task at the start of each section.

Stitch comes in the first bag and his ship is the very first thing to build in the instructions. That’s great because, after you put that ship together, the rest of Bag 1 is a real chore. While this is a fun build overall, the first bag will bring you some frustration, especially if you’re an adult and/or have bigger hands.

With the exception of the ship at the beginning, the first bag is all about the foundation of Lilo’s house. Per usual, there are a lot of long and flat pieces here, but this build in particular features an agonizing amount of single stud connections at the start. So much of the foundation of the house hinges on very small connections that move and bend without much pressure at all. You can’t hold it in your hand while you add more pieces, or else what you’ve already built will shift enough that you’ve got to put it back down to reset. It’s best to build the entire section without taking it off of your building surface.

The entire foundation just feels flimsy as you work through the first bag. Ultimately it doesn’t affect the final product, but it does put you in a frustrating headspace to start the project. Don’t be surprised if you have to redo pieces or connections a couple of times before you’re through with the bag. Having Stitch and his ship at the front end of the entire build helps a lot, as it reminds you that sometimes foundations can just not be as fun, but that there are clearly better times ahead.

And those better times start to arrive in Bag 2, which is far and away the biggest and most time-consuming bag of the entire set. In addition to getting the chance to put Lilo and Scrump together, Bag 2 starts to introduce the elements of the house that make it look and feel so wonderful. There are some tricky and meticulous portions of the bag — the tile floor in the kitchen is especially challenging for perfectionists who want every single stud to line up with exact 90° angles. Outside of those couple of tricky little areas, Bag 2 is where you’ll start to find a groove in this build. There are a lot of windows and walls that are satisfying to click together and really help hold the whole house together.

The highlight here is the railing around the front porch and down the stairs. I know that sounds silly, but it was such a satisfying element to put together. The stair rails out front are actually hinged and watching those pieces slide into their correct spot is a thing of beauty.

Bag 2 is the beast of the build but Bag 3 is easily the most enjoyable section of the experience. This bag contains most of the decor for the first floor of the house, so it becomes a lot of small, individual builds that only take a couple of minutes apiece. You’ve got Nani’s quirky couch (which doesn’t actually click in, don’t get hung up on that) and all of the kitchen appliances in this bag, and every one of them is fun in its own way. The refrigerator is particularly great, though it doesn’t actually open, which may be a bummer to some folks. Really, the whole kitchen stands out as a highlight of the entire house and, in retrospect, it’ll make you grateful for the challenging experience of the tile floor.

Bags 4 and 5 feel very similar and they cover the entire second floor of the Lilo & Stitch Beach House. That includes both Lilo and Nani’s bedrooms, the upper hallway, and the turret room on top of the house that eventually (in the Lilo & Stitch sequel) becomes Stitch’s room. That turret is the standout section of these two bags, with Lilo’s four-post bed coming in a close second.

Finally, you’ve got the sixth and final bag, which doesn’t come with any minifigs but does put the finishing touches on the house. This bag moves quickly because it contains a lot of big parts that make up the roof of the structure. The bright red roof and orange highlights make for such a beautiful contrast when paired with the blue of the house’s exterior. The trees and flowers all around the structure bring a balance to the final product that will have you thinking back to the unique style of the film itself. Lilo & Stitch set the modern style of its characters against a largely watercolor background, giving a sense of stillness and serenity to the Hawaiian locale that played so well against the sci-fi chaos that was brewing throughout the story. The design team behind this LEGO set did an excellent job honoring that style.

LEGO’s Lilo & Stitch Beach House is a beauty once it’s all done, so much so that you’ll probably forget about the frustrations from the very beginning of the build. It’s a little smaller than you may think when you look at the box, but at $89.99, it certainly feels like a good value compared to the other larger Disney sets. Note that a VHS edition of Alien: Romulus exists, and it was available to pre-order here at Walmart for $59.96, but is currently sold out and unlikely to return. Another Alien Movie on the Way?

Given the strong box office performance of the film, it seems likely that another entry into the franchise.will happen, though nothing has been confirmed at this point. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter recently, Alvarez was asked about a potential Romulus sequel. While it wasn’t on the forefront of his mind during the film, he definitely thought about ways the story could be extended after the fact.

“Yes, I definitely can. We tend to do that naturally, not even thinking about sequels. For us, movies have not become franchises, tentpoles, and sequels,” the director said. “This is a language that I’ve only learned in the last ten years of my life working here. For me, it’s always been about story. So, once we finished, we started thinking, ‘What do you think happens when or if they get to your Yvaga? Is it going to be great? Or is it a terrible place?’ We tend to believe it’s probably a terrible place that they think is great and fantasize about, so we naturally started thinking about where it goes and what’s going to happen. And then, a few minutes in, we go, ‘Oh, that sounds like a sequel.’

The RoboForce franchise is expanding in a big way as it jumps to the small screen with a new animated series, and now we have the date for the anticipated premiere. The Nacelle Company (Biker Mice from Mars) has revealed that RoboForce: The Animated Series will premiere exclusively on Tubi starting on April 12th, which The Rock revealed along with the poster for the project, and you can check that out below. The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions partnered with Nacelle to bring the RoboForce Animated Series to life.

On Facebook, The Rock wrote, “For my fellow 80’s freaks, you remember RoboForce toys!? Seven Bucks Productions Nacelle Toys created a fun sci-fi joint, ROBOFORCE: The Animated Series Debuts on Tubi on April 12th. SevenBucks #NacelleToys #RoboForce”.

RoboForce is set in 2089 Detroit, where the RoboForce was rendered obsolete by more advanced UA101 bots. As a result, the old bots have been pushed out of the hero business and into menial jobs, but that all changes when a mysterious code virus affects the 101’s, and it will be up to RoboForce to stop them.

The series features team leader Maxx 89, the hot-tempered Hun-Dred, the powerhouse Wrecker, the sarcastic Sentinel, the rebellious Blazer, the killing machine Detonator, and more, but what’s even better is that fans can also look forward to wave 2 of the RoboForce toyline, which will go up for pre-order on April 11th.

Detonator will feature back missiles, rotating triangle laser cannons, and dual forearm laser cannons, but above all else, the paint job on Detonator is simply stunning. Detonator looks incredible, but Hun-Dred is no slouch either, boasting quad chest missiles, a shoulder laser cannon, tentacle laser cannons, a laser sniper rifle hand, a war hammer hand, and flextro-loc (suction cup) feet.

Sentinel looks great as well and features a retractable head laser cannon, a plasma energy shield, a plasma energy sword, and flextro-loc feet. Last but certainly not least is CRMGN, who hilariously has posable angry eyebrows, an extending grip claw hand, and a rotating body towards the base. Studio Ghibli’s recent anime film The Boy and the Heron has been one of the biggest success stories in the illustrious career of Hayao Miyazaki, winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature award at the 96th Academy Awards after a 10 year “retirement“. It is destined to be another Studio Ghibli classic that will be enjoyed for generations to come, which makes the home video release especially exciting. In fact, this is the first time that a Studio Ghibli film was released in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

Which Studio Ghibli Movie is the Best?

Which movie do you think is the best Studio Ghibli film? Maybe Kiki’s Delivery Service? Or Spirited Away? Don’t forget about Ponyo! Luckily for us, a recent poll might have given us the answer.

The poll was conducted by Ranking.net, and despite Castle in the Sky and Kiki’s Delivery Service receiving strong support from the fan base, Spirited Away was the clear winner. Of 5,849 participants, 2,475 voted in favor of the 2001 fantasy adventure movie. The disparity between 1st and 2nd place was fairly large, with Castle in the Sky taking second place with a total of 1,671 votes.

It’s really no surprise that Spirited Away walked away with the hypothetical award. The movie is arguably Ghibli’s most successful film, having won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2003. The film is currently ranked as the 31st greatest movie of all-time on IMDb.

What’s Different in the Death Stranding Director’s Cut?

If you’ve played Death Stranding‘s standard edition previously or just want to know what’s different about the Director’s Cut before you buy, let’s break it down. Death Stranding originally released for PS4 in 2019, arriving for PC the following year. The Director’s Cut version followed in September 2021, two years after the game’s original release. The original has an 82 Metacritic score, while the Director’s Cut gains a few points up to 85. Reviewers say the newer version takes the game to a new level thanks to the QoL and framerate improvements.

The Director’s Cut version adds new gameplay features and quality of life changes meant to streamline the experience. This includes an increased framerate up to 60fps, more places to rest and regain stamina, and extending the highways into the mountain. The combat system also gets some new additions, with new moves including dropkicks and springs. The Director’s Cut also adds additional customization for BB and Sam, letting gamers give Death Stranding a more personal touch.

In addition, the Director’s Cut adds new content. It includes a new area, three new story missions, 40 new secondary orders, and more. Many fans say this version is better thanks to the optimizations and extra story content. As for the story itself, the integrity of the original remains largely unchanged, with a few small additions through the story missions. However, playing the Death Stranding Director’s Cut will not tarnish your ability to understand the original story.

With the sequel coming out on June 26th, this enhanced version is a great way to revisit the original or experience it for the first time so you’re ready when Death Stranding 2 arrives. Just make sure to head to Fanatical by March 20th if you want to snag it for less.

Steven Spielberg’s thrilling adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel Jurassic Park came out at a time when new advances were being made in research about dinosaurs, causing the massive beasts to take on a newfound popularity in the early ’90s. More than 30 years later, fans of all ages are still impressed by the concept of the extinct creatures, as new documentaries roll out on a yearly basis to chronicle the fascinating animals, and with the new Jurassic World Rebirth set to hit theaters this summer. Whether you’re a fan of dinosaurs, the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise, or just of LEGO itself, the all-new Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex is a must-have, as it’s not only a delight to build, but also results in an impressive display piece that needs to be seen to be believed.

The set comes in at a massive 3,145 pieces, understandably putting it in line with an intended age level of 18+. The pieces are spread across 25 bags and can take a builder roughly nine hours to complete the project. Given the fairly limited color scheme of the set and the expected repetitiveness of putting a skeleton together, the project might come with some muted enthusiasm. Despite any apprehension, once you actually dig into the set and see how uniquely every single component comes together, those concerns will quickly be deflated.

The first four bags construct the base upon which the T-Rex will sit, which is essentially two, large rocky pieces that are connected to one another, as well as vertical columns that will make your T-Rex stand upright. Even though you’re just essentially building rocks, there are enough small tweaks in each foundation that their construction becomes more complex and unique than you’d initially think. Add in some key pieces of foliage in select places and you really do feel like you’re building something you might see in a museum exhibit. Adding the columns also helps you start to get a sense of the size of the project, while you can also feel the necessary heft of the foundation that will be necessary to support the large figure.

The next section of the build is the T-Rex’s spine, which is arguably one of the less exciting elements of the dinosaur. While it might not be visually exciting, there are enough variations throughout the build that it keeps you on your toes. This section also features one of the more exciting Easter eggs of the whole build. Early on in building the spine, there’s a hollow section in which a small frog is placed in front of a steering wheel. This serves as a reference to how, in the Jurassic Park films, scientists filled gaps in dinosaur DNA with frog DNA. This frog sits at the core of the entire build and is quickly covered up, so anyone looking at the constructed set would have to remove major chunks even to see the frog. This shows the love and care the designers had for Jurassic Park and the delight they aim to deliver to the builder.

As you construct the spine, you’ll find lots of odd ridges and spines, which accurately represent the T-Rex’s skeleton in the signature LEGO style. It can grow slightly repetitive, yet it never feels boring, as the progressing shift in size and scale up and down the spine offers slight tweaks to familiar pieces. One of the challenges with not just the spine, but many other larger pieces, is that since this isn’t a man-made structure with flat edges and sharp corners, it can be tricky to find the best way to physically handle the section you’re working on. As you’re pressing on one piece, you might accidentally pop off a piece in another region. This isn’t a major challenge, but something to be aware of as to not inadvertently set yourself back as pieces potentially pop off.

Bags 11 through 14 construct the T-Rex’s legs, as well as attach them to the hip joints and to the rocky foundation of the base structure. While nothing about the construction of the spine made us question the durability of the build, as you’re constructing the legs, you really get a sense of just how stable this T-Rex will be in its construction. As anyone who has seen fossils at a museum before, there are complex construction methods used to make sure bones are arranged properly and in the right place. Similarly, the leg joints are narrow where necessary, though the LEGO designers have found ways to join these pieces to keep the museum-like aesthetic without sacrificing the build’s integrity.

Bag 15 is when you’ll move on to the T-Rex’s rib cage, which helps exemplify just how engaging the build is, as well as how inventive the designers were in its construction. When you open these bags, you see a lot of pieces that look repetitive, though the inherent anatomical nature of a rib cage means it’s not actually redundant. Instead, LEGO will have you make four identical ribs, then create four more similar ribs that have an additional piece in a key joint to make the ribs longer, then more ribs similar to those, yet with another extra piece added to a key area. Approaching this section, it’s easy to assume you’ll be making a total of 20 almost-identical pieces, yet by placing key pieces to extend certain areas, you’ll get the necessary organic shape of a rib cage.

Bags 17 through 19 are focused on the T-Rex’s tail, so you’ll be replicating some of the building techniques used in constructing the spine. With it likely having been hours since you last worked on the spine, there’s still no sense of redundancy in the build, as the tail similarly repeats certain components yet makes slight tweaks in each section to create an organic shift in scale. Even though the set’s base, spine, ribs, and legs have given you some sense of the figure’s size, it’s not until you complete the tail that you truly get a sense of just how massive the set is. Luckily, its relatively small footprint with its base means you don’t need a large amount of real estate to put this figure together, yet you should surely be careful when you’re trying to walk near it so you don’t accidentally topple the whole T-Rex.

The T-Rex’s head starts to come together in bags 20 through 24, and even though we just know this is a LEGO set of an extinct animal, the jaws and teeth do showcase how ferocious the animal really was. Much like the rest of the fossil, the skull begins as a relatively impressionistic interpretation of the requisite bones, and it’s only until you come to the end of the build that the more identifying features take shape. Once the skull is attached to the neck, the jaw opens and there’s a range of motion, though the nature of LEGO means you might be apprehensive about fully exploring that range as to not damage the build. Still, between the skull and tail’s range of motion, you can set up quite the dynamic pose for the T-Rex.

The final back completes an informational plaque about the T-Rex, further replicating the idea that you yourself could come across this structure in a museum exhibit, while also including minifigs of Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. They both sport their signature Jurassic Park gear, with their heads even offering up the chance to display their familiar sunglasses, or more neutral expressions. While we’re slightly disappointed that Grant doesn’t come with his iconic hat, it’s a small setback on otherwise adorable pieces. Making the build feel all the more complete is the fact that the plaque displaying information, as well as attaches to Grant and Sattler, can connect with the base of the T-Rex for one all-encompassing display as opposed to LEGO’s larger builds that come with detached, ancillary pieces.

Standing 13 inches tall and being 42 inches long, the completed T-Rex is truly a sight to behold. Not only was the build itself a delight at every step of the way, but displaying the figure is just as rewarding as building it, which isn’t always something that can be said about massive LEGO sets. Even at more than 3,000 pieces, only one piece was found to be missing, which is still an impressive success rate. Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex might come at a premium price point, but given how lengthy the build is, along with how impressive the figure looks, it’s one of the better investments you can make as a fan of the Jurassic World series or even just as a fan of LEGO’s signature take on recognizable relics. After a 36 year wait, fans turned out in droves for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice sequel. In fact, the film grossed $451.9 million, with $110 million of that in its opening weekend, which is good enough for the second biggest September release of all-time behind 2017’s It. That tally also puts it behind only Deadpool & Wolverine and Inside Out 2 on the list of top grossing debuts for 2024. That said, if you’re a Tim Burton fan that already owns the original 1988 Beetlejuice film on 4K Blu-ray, you’ll probably want to pick up the new film. You might even be tempted to grab the limited edition Steelbook exclusive, which is a 2-disc release that includes Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz character poster cases that glow-in-the-dark. Now would be a good time as it’s available here on Amazon and here at Walmart for only $24.99, which is 55% off list and an all-time low. That’s the same price as the standard 4K Blu-ray!

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is now available to pre-order in the GITD 4K Blu-ray Steelbook Edition, standard 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD. Will There Be a Beetlejuice 3? 

Despite the fact that a movie titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice seems like something that absolutely needs to happen, Tim Burton isn’t so sure about a final film to complete the trilogy:

“Let’s do the math. It took 35 years to do this one,” Burton, 66, answered when asked about a Beetlejuice Beetlejuice sequel during a Venice press conference, according to Deadline. “For another, I’d be over 100 [years old]. It could be possible thanks to medical science. But I don’t think so.”

Of course, with the numbers that Beetlejuice 2 is putting up, it seems likely that a sequel could be fast tracked to, say, a year or two as opposed to 1/3 of a century. We’ll have to wait and see. 

The synopsis for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice reads: “Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic, and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”

When Berserk creator Kentaro Miura died in 2021, many believed that one of the greatest manga of all-time would remain unfinished. Fortunately, Miura’s friend Kouji Mori and the artists at Studio Gaga decided that they would bring closure to the story of Guts and the Band of the Hawk using Miura’s notes as their guide. Berserk’s North American Return

Here’s how Dark Horse Comics describes the 42nd volume of Berserk that will make its way to the United States on March 18th, “The shocking appearance of Griffith on Elf Island has provoked rage and terror in Guts and Casca…and carved a rift into the enchanted isle itself, setting loose a corrosive horde of devourers from beneath the earth! The previous volume of the manga arrived in North America in 2021, meaning its been several years since Berserk fans were able to get an official manga volume following the Black Swordsman. Despite having no running anime series at the moment, the Band of The Hawk will still have a major place in the anime world for years to come.

Suzanne Collin’s incredibly popular book series, The Hunger Games, is getting its fifth installment, this time focusing on the 50th annual Hunger Games and a young Haymitch Abernathy’s race to survive. The new novel, Sunrise on the Reaping is currently up for pre-order on Amazon in hardcover with 30% discount ($19.59). It will be in your hands in just a few days on March 18th, so lock down the deal while you can. But that’s not all!
