FAQ
Instantly displayable and effortlessly elegant; when your flowers come already arranged in one of our beautiful vases, all that’s left for you to do is pick the perfect spot to show them off.
We choose vases to best compliment the arrangement and make sure they are delivered to your door already filled with quality water and flower food to promote longevity. Our team of drivers use specialized refrigerated vans for all local deliveries, making sure your flowers reach you in the best condition possible. This eliminates the need for awkward arranging at home and streamlines the gift-giving process.
Yes, when purchasing an arrangement you are also getting an elegant vase to keep and reuse - or alternatively, return to us for recycling. This is one of the ways in which we are raising the bar for floristry - you wouldn’t order a beautiful piece of jewelry or item of clothing and be expected to assemble it on delivery, so why accept the same with your flowers?
For local deliveries, anything ordered before 2pm can usually be delivered the same day. The only time that this may not be possible is if we are booked to capacity - but even then, we will try our hardest to provide you with appropriate options.
When ordering a vase arrangement for someone out of town, aim to place your order before noon in the desired recipient’s timezone. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss specific delivery requirements - we will always do our best to accommodate your needs. Select Express Delivery for orders needing to be delivered in the morning.
Whilst our flowers are delivered already settled in nutrient-enriched water, we recommend changing this water daily to get the longest vase life possible out of your arrangement.
When flowers are cut they no longer have their roots to filter their water intake - this is why it is important to keep their water fresh and clean. Letting the water become stagnant could expose your flowers to bacteria that will accelerate the wilting process. We recommend doing a total water change at least every two days, and topping up their water regularly in between changes.
When choosing the right place for your flowers you should avoid spots in direct sunlight, beneath air vents with a strong flow, or near radiators. You should also refrain from placing your flowers on window sills, as they are often too hot or too drafty depending on where you live. All of these factors could damage your vase arrangement, and hinder your flowers from staying fresh and bright for as long as possible.
Keeping vases clean is an essential part of giving your flowers the best chance of lasting. When carrying out your water changes, give your vase a clean to keep bacteria from affecting your arrangement. All of our vases are thoroughly cleaned prior to receiving flowers.
When carrying out total water changes you can also retrim flower stems with sharp secateurs to help encourage freshness. Trim at a 45 degree angle with a clean cut an inch from the bottom - do not crush or bend the stems, as this will have an effect on their ability to absorb water. As standard, all orders come with flower food.

We always retain the wonderful element of surprising the person you’re sending flowers to. If our delivery driver knocks on the door and there is no answer, our customer service team will call to the recipient’s phone number. If no one answers, we may call you to ask to advise. If our driver is at a business or residence where there is a safe location we will leave it in a safe place, and then leave a voicemail for your recipient to let them know they have flowers. We’ll leave our information as well so that they can reach out in case there are any concerns. In occurrences when we do not feel like there is a safe place to leave the flowers, we return them to the shop and notify you and your recipient, letting your recipient know to reach out to us to reschedule the delivery of a fresh arrangement at a time that works best for them. This is something we offer typically at no extra cost.
